Text Message Program

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Azalio, Inc. operates the Oscar.ai restaurant operations platform. This page describes every text message we send, who receives them, how each recipient consents, and how to stop them. We send transactional and operational messages only. We never send marketing, promotional, or advertising text messages.

Who we message

Our customers are restaurant groups. We do not message members of the general public, and there is no way for the public to sign up for our text messages. Every recipient is either an employee of one of our customers or a manager who holds an Oscar.ai account.

What we send, and how consent is given

1. Workplace policy notifications

When one of our customers distributes a workplace policy document — an employee handbook, a harassment policy — through the Oscar.ai platform, we text that employer's employees a personal link to review the document and record their acknowledgment, plus periodic reminders until they acknowledge it.

How consent is obtained: the employee provides their mobile number to their employer as part of onboarding and HR record-keeping. The employer, our customer, supplies those numbers to us and is responsible for notifying its personnel that these required workplace notices are delivered by text message. Employees may reply STOP at any time.

Example message:

Oscar.ai: Hi Bob, you have a new policy to acknowledge: Workplace Harassment Policy. Review and confirm below. Reply STOP to opt out.

2. Operational alerts

Managers who oversee one or more restaurant locations receive alerts when a location they are responsible for shows a condition needing attention during its posted business hours — for example, no drive-through orders recorded in the past hour.

How consent is obtained: the manager signs in to their Oscar.ai account at app.oscar.ai, opens their account settings, enters their own mobile phone number, and enables the alerts they wish to receive. Entering the number and enabling alerts is the opt-in. Nothing is sent until they do this, and they may reply STOP at any time.

Example message:

Oscar.ai drive-through alert

No drive-through orders in the last hour at 2 store(s):
10417
1807

Reply STOP to opt out.

3. Account and sign-in notifications

Account holders may receive notifications they have configured in the application, and sign-in codes when they request them.

How consent is obtained: the account holder enters their own mobile number in the application and enables the notifications they want.

Message frequency

Frequency varies by organization and by what each recipient has enabled. Policy notifications are sent when a policy is distributed — typically monthly at most — plus reminders until acknowledged. Operational alerts are sent only when a monitored condition occurs.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop all text messages. You will receive a single confirmation and nothing further. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for assistance, or email hi@oscar.ai.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider, solely to transmit the messages described on this page. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions for full detail.
